Deviled Green Beans
|Onion||1 Medium, chopped|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , chopped|
|Pimientos||2 Can (20 oz), sliced or chopped|
|Prepared mustard||2 Teaspoon|
|Canned tomato sauce||8 Ounce (1 can)|
|Shredded cheddar cheese||1⁄4 Pound (1 cup)|
|Frozen cut green beans/1 can (1 lb.) cut beans, drained||10 Ounce, cooked, and drained (1 package)|
Saute onion, garlic, green pepper, and pimientos in butter or margarine until onions are limp.
Stir in mustard, tomato sauce, and cheese.
Combine beans and sauce; turn into a greased 1-quart casserole.
Bake, uncovered, in moderate oven (350°) for 25 minutes, or until cheese is melted.
Makes 4 servings.
