Chilli Con Carne
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Beef||1 Pound, minced|
|Condensed tomato soup||15 Ounce (1 can)|
|Mild chilli powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green capsicum||1 , chopped|
|Cooked red kidney beans/2 cans 10 ounce each kidney beans, drained||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Saute onion and garlic in hot oil in a heavy frying pan.
Add minced beef, increase heat, and cook until beef browns, stirring constantly.
Add soup, salt, chilli powder and water.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add capsicum and beans, simmer for a fur then 20 minutes and serve hot.
