Green Beans With Blue Cheese And Roasted Red Peppers
|Frozen cut green beans||20 Ounce (1 Bag)|
|Roasted red pepper strips||3 Ounce, drained and silvered (1/2 Jar)|
|Ground white pepper||1⁄8 Teaspoon|
|Cream cheese||4 Ounce|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Blue cheese||2 Ounce, crumbled (3/4 Cup)|
|Italian style bread crumbs||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Butter/Margarine||1 Tablespoon, melted|
|Yellow bell pepper||To Taste|
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
Spray 2-quart oval casserole with nonstick cooking spray.
COMBINE green beans, red pepper strips, salt and white pepper in prepared dish.
PLACE cream cheese and milk in small saucepan; heat over low heat, stirring until melted.
Add blue cheese; stir only until combined.
Pour cheese mixture over green bean mixture and stir until green beans are coated.
COMBINE bread crumbs and margarine in small bowl; sprinkle evenly over casserole.
BAKE, uncovered, 20 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
Garnish with bell peppers and Italian parsley, if desired.
