Ingredients
  Green beans 1 Pound
  Slivered almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Steam green beans.
2. Stirring occasionally, cook almonds in butter over low heat just until golden brown (do not burn). Remove almonds from heat and add lemon juice and salt. Stir.
3. Pour almond mixture over green beans and serve.
