Cut enough clean beans to fill 8 pint jars and place in a large pan.
Add enough water to cover the beans.
Bring to a boil and boil for 5 minutes, then pack in hot sterilized jars up to 1/2 inch from tops.
Add 1/2 teaspoon salt to each jar, then cover with boiling liquid to within 1/2 inch from top of jars.
Adjust caps and process for 20 minutes at 10 pounds pressure.
