Herbed Green Beans
|Green beans||1 Pound|
|Onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), minced|
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Snipped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Dried rosemary||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
1. Wash beans. Remove ends and strings, if any. Cut into 2-inch pieces.
2. Cook beans.
3. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add onions and garlic and cook gently for 5 minutes, until tender but not browned.
4. Add parsley, rosemary, basil and salt. Cover and simmer gently 5 minutes.
5. Turn green beans into a warmed serving dish. Add herb mixture and toss lightly.
