Mixed Bean Hot Pot

Ingredients
  Mixed beans 2 1⁄2 Ounce, soaked overnight (65 Gram, Such As Red Or White Kidney Beans, Black, Pinto, Haricot)
  Oil 2 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Small, chopped
  Garlic 1⁄2 Clove (2.5 gm), finely chopped
  Green beans 2 Ounce, sliced (50 Gram)
  Broad beans 2 Ounce (50 Gram)
  Tomato sauce 150 Milliliter (2/3 Cup)
  Water 4 Tablespoon
  Chopped basil 1 Teaspoon
  Cheddar cheese 1⁄2 Ounce, grated (15 Gram)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Drain the beans, cover with fresh cold water, bring to a rolling boil and boil hard for 10 minutes. Lower the heat, cover and cook for 40-50 minutes, until soft. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside.
2. Heat the oil in a small saucepan, add the onion and garlic and fry gently for 4-5 minutes. Stir in the green and broad beans, tomato sauce, water, basil and cooked beans. Season well with salt and pepper, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes.
3. Transfer to a warmed serving plate, sprinkle with the cheese and serve immediately.
