Easy Red Beans Aid Rice

Ingredients
  Smoked link sausages 1 Pound, cut into 1/4-inch slices
  Onion 1 Medium, chopped
  Green pepper 1 , chopped
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Canned kidney beans 30 Ounce, drained (2 Cans, 15 Ounce Each)
  Canned whole tomatoes 16 Ounce, chopped (1 Can, Untrained)
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground black pepper 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Hot cooked rice 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Cook sausage in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat until browned, stirring frequently.
Add onion, green pepper, and garlic; cook until tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in beans and next 3 ingredients.
Bring to a boil; cover, reduce heat, and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Serve over rice.
