Stewed Green Beans With Tomatoes
|Garlic||1 Clove (5 gm), minced|
|Thinly sliced onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Chopped green pepper||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Diced celery||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Chopped fresh tomatoes||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Cut green beans||2 Cup (32 tbs) (fresh or canned)|
|Chopped parsley||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Saute garlic, onion, green pepper, and celery in butter in heavy skillet for about 3 minutes.
Add tomatoes, beans, and parsley.
Cover and cook for 15 minutes, or until beans are tender or until canned beans are heated through.
Season to taste.
