Bean Pot Roast

Ingredients
  Beef round/Rump 2 Pound, cut into 2 inch cubes
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Canned tomatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whole parboiled small white onions 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Peeled white potatoes 8 Small
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Put meat with salt into a bean pot with tight-fitting lid.
Cover and put pot in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove from oven and add vegetables and pepper to taste.
Replace lid and continue cooking for 45 minutes longer, or until vegetables and meat are tender.
