Woodsy Baked Beans
|Canned pork and beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Bacon slices||4 , cut into small pieces|
|Onion||1 Small, diced|
|Sorghum/Dark karo syrup / honey||3 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||3 Tablespoon|
In a large cast iron skillet, brown bacon.
Add diced onions and saute until soft.
Do not drain grease.
Add beans and mix well.
Add syrup and brown sugar.
Move to the side of the grill and cook slowly for 20 min (If cooking indoors, bake in oven for 20 min.)
Stir before serving.
