Harvest Cinnamon Beans

  Fresh green beans/Two packages of 9-ounce each frozen cut green beans, thawed 1 1⁄2 Pound, cut into 1-inch pieces
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Onion 1 Small, coarsely chopped
  Instant chicken bouillon granules 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Ground cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Tomato paste 2 Tablespoon
  Pepper 1 Dash

Thaw green beans, if frozen.
In a 2-quart casserole combine fresh or thawed green beans, water, onion, bouillon granules, and cinnamon.
Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power (HIGH) till beans are crisp-tender (15 to 20 minutes for fresh beans or 10 to 12 minutes for thawed beans), stirring 2 or 3 times during cooking.
Drain bean mixture, reserving 1 teaspoon of the liquid.
Combine the reserved liquid, tomato paste, and pepper.
Stir tomato paste mixture into bean mixture.
If desired, garnish with green onion fan.
