Black Bean And Goat Cheese Spread

Ingredients
  Olive oil 2 Teaspoon
  Onion 1 Medium, sliced
  Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm), crushed
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Mirin 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Sweet Rice Wine)
  Canned black beans 15 Ounce, rinsed and drained (1 Can)
  Goat cheese 5 1⁄3 Ounce (1 Package)
  Sliced green onion 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)
  Black pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Heat oil in a medium nonstick skillet over medium-low heat. Add onion, garlic, and salt. Cook 25 to 30 minutes, stirring often, until browned. Add mirin; bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes or until liquid is absorbed.
2. Place onion mixture, beans, and remaining 3 ingredients in a blender or food processor; process 1 minute or until smooth, scraping sides of bowl occasionally. Cover and chill at least 2 hours (mixture will thicken as it chills).
