Carob Frosted Cookies
|Oil||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Honey||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), warmed|
|Whole wheat flour||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Basic carob syrup||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Mix butter, oil, and honey.
Then add egg yolks and beat until smooth.
Preheat oven to 350° F. and grease an 11 x 14-inch baking pan.
Stir in flour and salt.
Pat evenly into prepared pan to about 1/4-inch thickness.
Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until firm.
Combine carob syrup, honey, and butter.
Place over low heat and beat until smooth.
Remove baking pan from oven and while dough is still hot, spread the frosting evenly over the top.
Cut into squares or bars.
