Retried Beans

Ingredients
  Cooked pinto beans/Cooked pink beans 4 Cup (64 tbs) (Plus 1/2 Cup Cooking Liquid)
  Cooking liquid 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Bacon drippings/Lard 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
Directions

Mash beans with a potato masher or electric mixer, or whirl until smooth in a food processor.
Heat bacon drippings in a wide frying pan over medium heat.
Add beans and mix well.
Cook, stirring frequently, until beans are thickened and fat is absorbed.
Add salt to taste.
Serve hot or reheat.
