Sesame Green Beans
|Green beans/9 ounce, frozen french-style green beans||1⁄2 Pound (fresh)|
|Sesame seed||2 Teaspoon|
|Celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), thinly sliced|
|Onion||2 Tablespoon, chopped|
Slice fresh green beans diagonally end to end.
In covered saucepan cook fresh beans in a small amount of boiling, lightly salted water for 10 to 12 minutes or just till tender or, cook frozen beans according to package directions.)
Drain; turn into serving bowl, Meanwhile, in small saucepan heat butter or margarine and sesame seed over low heat about 5 minutes or till sesame seed is golden brown, stirring constantly.
Add celery, onion, and salt; cook and stir till vegetables are tender.
Pour over hot beans.
Toss beans with celery mixture and serve immediately.
