Chili Beef And Beans
|Ground beef||1 Pound|
|Shortening||1 Tablespoon (Use if necessary) (Optional)|
|Chopped onion||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Garlic||1 Large, minced|
|Chili powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Canned pork and beans in tomato sauce||32 Ounce (Two 16 Ounce Cans, Campbell's)|
|Canned tomatoes and green chilies||1 Can (10 oz)|
In large saucepan, brown beef and cook onion, combined with garlic and chili powder, until tender (use shortening if necessary); stir to separate meat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Bring to boil; reduce heat.
Simmer 10 minutes; stir occasionally.
