Festive Green Beans
|Green beans/One 16 ounce can green beans, drained||1 Pound|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Stewed tomatoes/Chunky salsa||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Mexican One)|
Cut beans into 2-in.pieces; place in a saucepan.
Add water and salt if desired; bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until tender; drain.
Add pepper, garlic powder and tomatoes; heat through
