Sweet And Sour Beans
|Bacon slices||8 , crumbled|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Garlic powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Cider vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Canned butter beans||30 Ounce (Two 15 Ounce Cans)|
|Canned green lima beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned red kidney beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned baked beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
Fry bacon in skillet until crisp.
Remove bacon and drain off some of the fat.
Separate onion slices and cook in fat until tender but not browned.
Stir in sugar, mustard, garlic powder, salt and vinegar.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Drain the lima, butter and kidney beans, and combine with the baked beans, onion mixture, and crumbled bacon.
Pour into crock cooker and cook covered for 3 to 5 hours at Low.
