Festive Green Beans

Ingredients
  Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Leeks 3 Medium, well rinsed and sliced
  Red bell peppers 2 Large, seeded and cut into thin strips
  Green beans 2 Pound, trimmed
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
  Salt 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Tabasco pepper sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Grated lemon peel 1 Teaspoon
  Sliced almonds 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), toasted (Natural)
Directions

In 12-inch skillet over medium heat, heat oil and butter; add leeks.
Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add red peppers; cook 5 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
Meanwhile, steam green beans 5 minutes or until crisp-tender.
Add beans, garlic, salt, TABASCO sauce and lemon peel to skillet; toss to mix well.
Sprinkle with toasted almonds.
