Green Beans, Mediterranean Style is a delicious side dish which I always crave for. Try this Green Beans recipe; I bet, you will surely get a lot of compliments for this.
Ingredients
  Fresh green beans 1 Pound
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Olive oil/Salad oil 4 Tablespoon
  Green pepper 1⁄2 , seeded and chopped
  Celery stalks 1 , chopped
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
Directions

Remove ends and strings from green beans.
Cut beans in 2-inch lengths.
In a wide frying pan, cook onion in oil over high heat, stirring, until onion is soft but not brown.
Add green pepper and celery; cook over moderate heat, covered, for 5 minutes; stir occasionally.
Add beans and water to vegetables and continue to cook, covered, over moderate heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
