Three Bean Bake
|Bacon||1⁄4 Pound, cooked, crumbled, reserve drippings|
|Red onion||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chopped|
|Brown sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), firmly packed|
|Cider vinegar||1 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1 Teaspoon|
|Canned pork and beans||16 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Canned kidney beans||15 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
|Canned lima beans||17 Ounce, drained (1 Can)|
In 3 quart oblong glass baking dish, combine bacon drippings and onion.
Microwave at HIGH (10) 2 to 3 minutes until onion is transparent.
Add brown sugar, vinegar, salt, mustard, pork and beans, kidney beans, lima beans and crumbled bacon.
Microwave at HIGH (10) 10 to 12 minutes; stir after 6 minutes.
TO COOK BY COMBINATION: Insert metal acces sory rack.
Preheat oven to 300°F.
Cook on Combination Code 3, 18 to 23 minutes.
TO COOK BY CONVECTION: Insert metal accessory rack.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Bake for 30 to 35 minutes.
