Chilli Con Carne
|Onion||1 , chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), crushed|
|Minced steak||1 Pound|
|Canned condensed tomato soup||15 Ounce (1 Can)|
|Chili powder||1 Tablespoon|
|Water||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Green pepper||1 , seeded and chopped|
|Cooked red kidney beans/20 ounce cans kidney beans, drained||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
Saute onion and garlic in hot oil in a large heavy based frying pan.
Add minced beef and cook until meat browns, stir continuously.
Add soup, salt, chilli powder and water.
Cover and simmer for 10 minutes, stir occasionally.
Add green pepper and beans, simmer for a further 20 minutes and serve hot.
