Oysters Fried In Batter
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Small oysters||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Oil||2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)|
Sift the baking powder with the flour and mix with the water to make a thin batter.
Set it aside for a few minutes.
Season the oysters with pepper and salt.
Heat a pan filled to 2 inches of oil and bring it to a boil.
Dip the oysters in the batter and drop into the oil and fry till golden brown.
Serve immediately with side dishes of thick, imported soy sauce.
