This Fish Fried in Batter makes a fabulous snack ! These crispy golden brown fried batter-coated fish are versatile ! You can eat them as a snack, appetizer or as a side course ! Ingredients
  Fish filet 1⁄2 Pound
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs) (Scant)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Pepper 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For Deep Frying)
Directions

Sift the baking powder with the flour and mix with water to make a thin batter.
Do not have it too runny.
Set it aside for a few minutes.
Cut the filet of fish into 1 inch strips; season with pepper and salt.
Heat a pan filled up to 2 inches of oil and bring it to boiling point.
Dip the fish in the batter and drop it in the oil and fry till it is golden brown.
Serve immediately with side dishes of thick, imported soy sauce.
