|Flat beer||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Milk||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
1 Sift the flour and salt into a bowl.
2 Mix the beer, egg yolk and milk together and then blend this mixture into the flour to obtain a smooth batter. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the batter stand at room temperature for 1 hour.
3 When the batter is ready, beat the egg whites until they stand in soft peaks.
Add the egg whites and the oil to the batter and use immediately. Makes about 1 1/4 cups Fish Fritters.
