Ingredients
  Flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs), sifted
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Ground ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Egg 1
  Milk 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salad oil 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
Directions

Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and ginger into a medium-size bowl.
Add remaining ingredients all at once beat with a rotary beater until smooth.
