Whole Wheat Batter Crackers
|All purpose flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole wheat flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shredded wheat bran cereal||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Baking soda||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Margarine||2 Tablespoon, melted|
|Garlic||4 Clove (20 gm), chopped|
|1% milk||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
|Vegetable cooking spray||1 Tablespoon|
|Grated parmesan cheese||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), divided|
Combine first 11 ingredients in container of an electric blender; cover and process on high speed 2 minutes or until smooth, stopping twice to scrape down sides.
Pour 1/2 cup batter into a 13- x 9- x 2-inch pan coated with cooking spray; tilt pan to evenly cover bottom.
Bake at 325° for 5 minutes.
Remove from oven; coat with cooking spray, and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons cheese.
Cut into 24 rectangles.
Return to oven, and bake an additional 20 to 25 minutes or until golden.
Remove from pan, and let cool on a wire rack.
Repeat procedure 5 times with remaining batter and cheese.
