Sweet Batter For Baked Apples
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Flour||1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Cream sugar and shortening, and add egg.
Stir in dry ingredients and milk at once, stirring only until blended.
Do not overheat.
Pour over apples in pan.
Bake at 350 degrees, 30 minutes or until cake tests done.
Invert hot cake on cake plate.
