Bass With Ginger
|Fresh ginger||1 Small (knob)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
Wash and clean the fish, removing the scales and fins.
Put in a deep pan with the salt, cover with cold water and bring gently to the boil; cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
Wash and finely chop the ginger or use ground ginger if fresh is not available.
Chop the spring onions (scallions) very finely, mix with the ginger, soy sauce and oil.
Lift the fish from the pan, drain and place on a large serving dish.
Pour the ginger mixture over.
