Orange And Basil Glazed Shrimp

Ingredients
  Orange juice 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cornstarch 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Snipped fresh basil/1/2 teaspoon dried basil, crushed 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Crushed red pepper 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Peanut oil 1 Teaspoon
  Medium shrimp 1 Pound, peeled and deveined (Fresh / Frozen)
  Garlic 2 Clove (10 gm), minced
  Vermouth 1 Tablespoon
  Hot cooked rice 2
Directions

1. For sauce, in a small mixing bowl stir together the orange juice, cornstarch, basil, salt, and crushed red pepper. In a large skillet heat butter or margarine and peanut oil over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and garlic; cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes or till the shrimp turn pink. Remove shrimp from skillet.
2. If desired, carefully stir vermouth into skillet. Stir sauce; add to skillet. Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 2 minutes more. Add shrimp and heat through.
