Sauteed Oysters With Basil

Ingredients
  Pacific oysters 8 (Usually Sold In Jars)
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Basil 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Dry white wine 2 Tablespoon
Directions

If in shells, cut oysters free and remove.
Gently pat oysters dry.
Dredge in flour and shake off excess.
Place wok over medium-high heat.
When wok is hot, add butter.
When butter has melted, add oysters and sprinkle with basil.
Stir-fry oysters gently for about 4 minutes.
Arrange on a serving dish or place each oyster in a half shell; keep warm.
Add wine to wok and stir up browned particles.
Spoon liquid over oysters.
