Poached Salmon With Basil Mayonnaise
|Basil mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Adjust Quantity As Needed)|
|Salmon steaks||4 (1 1/2 Inches Thick)|
Prepare Basil Mayonnaise; cover.
Add bay leaf, peppercorns and enough water to medium skillet to fill to 1-inch depth.
Bring to a boil.
Reduce heat; cover.
Simmer 5 minutes or until salmon flakes easily when tested with fork.
Remove salmon from poaching liquid; serve with Basil Mayonnaise.
