Broccoli With Basil

Broccoli with basil is a herbed vegetable recipe. Cooked and served with a basil garlic sauce made with pine nuts and cheese, the broccoli with basil is savory and nutritious as a side.
Ingredients
  Broccoli florets 1 3⁄4 Pound, cut into florets, with stems peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  Firmly packed fresh basil/Firmly packed fresh parsley 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm)
  Pine nuts/Chopped walnuts 1 Tablespoon
  Grated parmesan cheese 1 Tablespoon
  Low sodium chicken broth 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Directions

In a large saucepan, bring an inch of unsalted water to a boil; add the broccoli and cook, uncovered, for 4 minutes or until just tender.
Drain well and transfer to a medium size bowl.
In an electric blender or food processor, whirl the basil, garlic, pine nuts, cheese, and chicken broth for 20 seconds.
Stir in the lemon juice, pour over the broccoli, and toss.
