Barley And Mushroom Casserole

Ingredients
  Pearl barley 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Onion soup mix envelope 1 3⁄8 Ounce
  Water 2 2⁄3 Cup (42.67 tbs)
  Sliced mushrooms 4 Ounce, drained
Directions

Saute barley in butter in a medium skillet over medium heat, stirring constantly, until barley is browned.
Remove from heat; stir in soup mix and water.
Pour into a lightly greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour or until liquid is absorbed.
Add mushrooms; bake an additional 15 minutes
