Barley Skillet Dinner

Ingredients
  Canola oil 1 Tablespoon
  Onion 1 , chopped
  Celery stalks 2 , sliced
  Carrots 2 , sliced
  Chicken broth 3 Cup (48 tbs)
  Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
  Quick cooking barley 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Frozen brussels sprouts/3/4 pound fresh ones 10 Ounce (1 Package)
  Cubed cooked chicken 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Grated romano cheese 2 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

MAKING
1.Take a large skillet or Dutch oven.
2.Put oil in it and heat.
3.Put onions, celery and carrots in it and saute well.
4.Stir in broth, lemon juice and barley.
5.Lower the flame and cook for 25 minutes after covering.
6.Put Brussels sprout and chicken in it and cook for 10 more minutes until the sprouts are soft and the liquid evaporates.
7.Add salt and pepper as per taste.
8.Add cheese.

SERVING
9.Serve immediately after preparation.
