|Chicken broth||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Barley||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Carrots||2 , peeled and chopped|
|Garlic||2 Clove (10 gm), minced|
|Red cayenne pepper||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Curry powder||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Raisins/Dried currants||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Onions||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped|
|Plain yogurt||1 Tablespoon|
1.In a slow cooker, put chicken broth, barley, carrots, garlic, red pepper, curry powder, raisns, dried currants,and onions.
2.Put the lid on and place the cooker on HIGH heat for 3-4 hrs .
3.Once the vegetables are cooked well and the liquid is absorbed, remove the cooker from heat.
4.In a dish, put curried barley and top it with yogurt and serve.
