Barley And Vegetables

Ingredients
  Beef stock 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Diced carrot 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  White turnip 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), diced
  Diced celery 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Minced onion 1 Ounce
  Cooked barley 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Heat stock in a medium saucepan.
Add vegetables and cook 15 minutes.
Add barley; season with salt and pepper.
Continue cooking until vegetables are tender and mixture becomes slightly thickened, stirring frequently.
Serve hot.
