Raspberry Bars

These raspberry bars are berrylicious bars flavored with raspberry jam. The batter for the raspberry bars is prepared with flour, eggs and milk with butter added. Baked, these bars can be served as desserts.
Ingredients
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Milk 1 Tablespoon
Directions

Cut butter into flour and baking powder sifted together.
Stir in egg and milk.
Press in an 8 x 8 inch cake pan.
Spread lightly with raspberry jam.
