Apricot-Banana Bars is the favorite for the kiddies. You can however experiment this Apricot-Banana Bars by adding ingredients of your choice. Check out the recipe of the rich tasting Apricot-Banana Bars.
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), softened
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Apricot preserves 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla 1 Teaspoon
  Unbleached flour 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Ripe banana 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), mashed
  Chopped nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Powdered sugar 1 Teaspoon

Preheat oven to 350°F Grease (not oil) and flour 15x10 inch jelly roll pan.
In mixing bowl, blend butter and brown sugar.
Beat in preserves, eggs and vanilla.
(Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.) Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread in prepared pan.
Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
