Chocolate Almond Coconut Bars

Ingredients
  All purpose flour/Unbleached flour 1 Cup (16 tbs) (Pillsbury's Best)
  Firmly packed brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Margarine/Butter, softened 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) (Parkay)
  Coconut 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Canned sweetened condensed milk 14 Ounce (Not Evaporated Reserve 0.5 Cup For Frosting)
  Blanched almonds 2 3⁄4 Ounce (0.5 Cup)
  Semi sweet chocolate chips 6 Ounce
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat oven to 350°F.
Grease 9-inch square or 11x7-inch pan.
Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off.
In small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and margarine at medium speed until fine crumbs form.
Press in bottom of prepared pan.
In same bowl, combine coconut and 3/4 cup condensed milk; spoon and spread over crust.
Place almonds evenly over coconut mixture.
Bake at 350°F. for 20 to 25 minutes or until light golden brown.
Cool 10 minutes.
In small saucepan, blend reserved 1/2 cup condensed milk and chocolate chips over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring constantly
Stir in vanilla.
Spread over warm bars.
Chill until firm; cut into bars." 36 (11/2-inch square) bars
