Lemon Prune Bars

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Eggs 3
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Baking soda 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Nutmeg 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Cloves 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Vanilla 3⁄4 Teaspoon
  Grated lemon rind 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Chopped pitted prunes 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Lemon frosting 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Directions

Add sugar and butter to eggs; beat well. Sift dry ingredients together, and then add to sugar mixture. Stir in remaining ingredients, except frosting. Spread into well-greased pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until it tests done. Cool to lukewarm in pan. Spread with Lemon Frosting. Cut into bars.
