|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Shortening||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted|
|Flour||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped|
|Raisins||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Maple flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
Add sugar and shortening, creaming well.
Sift flour, salt and baking powder together; add to creamed mixture.
Add walnuts, raisins and flavoring.
Turn into pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Cool slightly; cut into squares.
