Nutty Butterscotch Squares

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Brown sugar 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Eggs 2
  Vanilla 1 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  All purpose flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Baking powder 2 Teaspoon
  Coconut 1 Cup (16 tbs), flaked
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

MAKING
1. In a saucepan, combine butter and sugar and cook them over a low flame until bubbly; turn the heat off and allow to cool
2. Beat eggs, one by one, into it, beating after every addition; add in vanilla as well
3. In a clean dry bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder and add it to the butterscotch mixture along with coconut and nuts
4. Spread this mixture on a 10"X14" pan, buttered and sprinkled with flour and bake in the oven at 350°F for twenty five minutes

SERVING
5. Cut into squares while still warm and serve
