This extra sweet and crunchy Sugar Dusted Bars comes the way of those who love to indulge their sweet tooth in. Rich and healthy with a variety of nuts and fruits, this Sugar Dusted Bar is a good choice to start off your day well!
  Eggs 3
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sifted flour 1 1⁄4 Cup (20 tbs)
  Baking powder 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Allspice 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Grated orange rind 2 Teaspoon
  Seedless raisins 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooked dried apricots 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Cooked prunes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Walnuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)

Beat eggs until very light.
Gradually beat in sugar and beat until thick and light in color.
Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and allspice; fold gradually into egg mixture.
Fold in rind, raisins, apricots, prunes and walnuts.
Pour into a greased, 9 by 14-inch pan.
Bake in a slow oven (300° F) about 40 minutes.
Cut into bars or squares.
Roll in confectioners' sugar.
