Ginger Fruit Bars

Ingredients
  Egg 1 , beaten
  Dark brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs), firmly packed
  Butter 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Milk 2 Tablespoon
  Sifted flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Soda 1⁄8 Teaspoon
  Ginger 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Cinnamon 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Fruit 1 Cup (16 tbs), glazed
  Nuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

MAKING
2. Mix egg, butter and brown sugar well. Add milk.
3. Sieve salt, flour, soda, cinnamon and sugar. Add to egg mixture. Mix nuts and fruits well.
4. Take a 9 inch greased, floured square pan and pour in the batter.
5. Bake for 45 minutes, cool and cut as bars.

SERVING
6. Serve bars.
