Scotch Toffee Bars

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), melted
  Quick cooking oats 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Brown sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Corn syrup 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Chocolate chips 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Walnuts 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped
Directions

Combine butter and oats.
Add next four ingredients.
Pack very firmly in a shallow greased 7 x 11-inch pan.
Bake at 400F for 12 minutes.
Be careful not to overbake, or mixture will become too hard.
Remove from oven, sprinkle with 1 cup chocolate chips.
Return to oven about 5 minutes to melt chips.
Spread evenly; sprinkle with nuts.
Cut in 48 bars at once.
Refrigerate to harden.
