|Butter/Margarine||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Pumpkin pie spice||1 Teaspoon|
|Light brown sugar||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), firmly packed|
|All purpose flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Baking powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Moist coconut||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs), shredded|
Preheat oven to 350°.
Grease and lightly flour 8x8x2-inch pan.
Melt butter or margarine in saucepan.
Blend in pumpkin pie spice.
Add sugar and mix well.
Beat in egg and vanilla.
Sift together flour, baking powder and salt; mix into sugar mixture.
Stir in coconut.
Turn into prepared pan.
Bake 30 minutes.
Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan.
Place on board and cut into 14 bars with electric knife.
Store in a tightly covered cooky jar or box.
