|Finely chopped walnuts||1 Cup (16 tbs), candied|
Heat oven to 350°
Beat egg yolks; add sugar, water, and vanilla.
Measure flour by dipping method or by sifting.
Blend dry ingredients; stir in.
Mix in orange pieces and walnuts.
Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; stir in.
Spread in well-greased oblong pan, 13 x 9 1/2 x2".
Bake 30 to 35 min.
Cut in bars while warm.
