Apple Nut Bars

Ingredients
  Sifted all purpose flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Baking powder 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Butter/Margarine 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs), melted
  Granulated sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Eggs 2 , well beaten
  Chopped nuts 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Raisins 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Cut dried apples 2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)
  Confectioners sugar 6 Tablespoon
Directions

Sift dry ingredients into bowl.
Add remaining ingredients except confectioners' sugar.
Mix well and pour into buttered pan (13 x 9 x 2 inches).
Bake in preheated moderate oven (350°F.) for about 25 minutes.
While still warm, cut into 27 bars, 3 by 1 1/2 inches.
Roll in confectioners' sugar.
